“On the Worries of Human Beings”

I worry about breakfasts and dinners,

That my clothes fit too tight.

I worry about words I say,

or haven’t said,

Deep and late into the night.

I worry about the shows I watch,

Whether they’re too childish or silly.

I worry about places and people,

Especially when those two things are together,

(And they usually are).

I worry about Friday on Monday.

And Sunday on Tuesday.

I worry about grades and marks,

And if I’m capable of understanding all the knowledge there is.

But mostly,

I worry about things that I think others don’t,

And perhaps that worries me the most.
