On The Way Home'

All the leisurely walks

and little gasps of breath,

after the fading scarlet,

bring me home.

No one to be slandered,

no one to be coaxed.

Adult’s joy still seems to

linger around those merry-go-round.

Young hearts, ripened with

praises and failures

search for joy, in a cascade

of jubilance,

where angst turns into dust

and stars land in harmony.
