On A Cold November Night.

"On a cold November night, you left me alone in pain

And on the next sultry day, suddenly I was hit by rain."

This is what reminds me of you and haunts my mind

But I am still loving and I am still kind.

I tell myself that I will be fine and I won't be in dismay

And one day, you'll watch me as I go away-

Away from you when I start my retreat;

Gently passing like a breeze through the street.

Maybe you'll start caring for me the way I always do

But if you are too late, I'll be quite far away from you.

You will miss me but I'll be gone

And I won't need you even if I am alone-

Alone on a cold November night;

Out of your reach and out of your sight!
