Omega's End

Did you decide the pearl to be born of dust?

And the taste of water in thirst?

Do you know the resting place of immovable animals?

And hiding place of mobile – plants like cannibals?

Have you heard the cry of the wind that rides death?

And the spring that glides life of fresh breath?

Or were you there while I was teaching birds to fly

And fishes to swim & their fins to dry?

Did you know I count your daily eye blinks?

And thoughts you carelessly ignore from realities chinks?

Do you know why the sun climbs the dawn?

And stars shine the twilight of a scattered echelon?

Have you seen my weights that measure each snowflake?

And my stores that stocks rain to fill oceans, seas, and lakes?

Or were you there when I mapped your fate with the people around you?

And dusk before your being that’s lit up in hue?

Did you know I told fire not to cast a shadow?

And the moon on its own to never glow?

Do you know I have a colour pallet of every flower in my study?

And every leaf's stencil that makes the wood’s body?

Have you seen my wall your reminiscences that you have forgotten?

And the album of chronic misdeeds that could have happened?

Or were you there while I dug the ocean?

And pulled the mountains and set the earth in motion?

Did you know I choreographed your hair to grow?

And stretched the skin to fit your bones; head to toe?

Do you know I have measured every tide’s haste?

And footprints of every ant’s trace?

Have you decided on giraffes' height and elephants' weight?

Or were you there when I craved your brother's face?

and colored his hair and eyes shades?

I have pushed death and I have pulled life,

I have lessened your grief and gay rife,

I know your name and I know your scent,

I have a plan; this is not the end.
