Oh Prince of Peace

I see You in every beam of light

That pierces through the dead of night.

When every shadow yields to bright,

Your whisper calls my soul to fight.

I see You in the morning skies,

Reflected through these weary eyes.

When doubt has dressed itself as wise,

You speak, and every fear complies.

You write in stars, You breathe through rain,

No broken season blooms in vain.

You held me close inside my pain,

Then turned my wounds to songs again.

You're in the thunder, and still the seas,

The rushing wind, the quiet breeze.

The Lion's roar that brings kings to their knees,

The Shepherd's voice that calms and frees.

When the stars burn out and oceans cease,

And time surrenders its last lease,

The trumpets will sound Your grand release,

You'll reign forever, oh Prince of Peace.
