Oh My Flower - By Debangshi Paul
Written By: Debangshi Paul
Category: PoetryOh My Flower 37 years went a waste, From my dear’s grace, So engrave in your life, What I utter. When you get success, All the devils shall rise, Behind you. Jealousy, oh jealousy, The madness of earth, Possesses them whole. Don’t let them win, Don’t let yourself fall, They want to see you trip. Relax, calm down, Don’t let anger blind you, It’s a force of self-harm. Relax, calm down, They want to see you angry, They secretly love your demise. They pushed you, So what? Just don’t fall. Hang onto the side railing, Serene to your mind, Push them back with the same force. Or if its small, Don’t go all, Don’t pay attention to such strays. You have everything, That they lack. Therefore jealousy doesn’t cut them some slack. Who are they? Nobody special, I know. Therefore their words have no value. Oh my flower, May you root, To reach the waters.

Oh My Flower
So many years have went a waste,
From my dear’s grace,
So engrave in your life,
What I utter.
When you achieve success,
All the devils shall rise,
Behind you.
Jealousy, oh jealousy,
The scum of earth,
Possesses them whole.
Don’t let them win,
Don’t let yourself fall,
They want to see you trip.
Relax, calm down,
Don’t let anger blind you,
It’s a force of self-harm.
Relax, calm down,
They want to see you angry,
They secretly love your demise.
They pushed you,
So what?
Just don’t fall.
Hang onto the side railing,
Serene to your mind,
Push them back with the same force.
Or if the matter’s small,
Don’t go all,
Don’t pay attention to such strays.
You have everything,
That they lack.
Therefore jealousy doesn’t cut them some slack.
Who are they?
Nobody special, I know.
Therefore their words have no value.
Oh my flower,
May you root,
To reach the waters.
