Oh! My Dear

Amused eyes no longer the same

Softest of glint turned to frown

Voice I can no longer recognize

Tone, too distant.

I’m not holding onto you too tight

I’m right beside you,

Ready to let you lean on me,

Yet slowly you’re slipping away.

My playful words

Are they hitting you harder?

My childish acts

Are they annoying you lately?

Tell me,

For I cannot read your eyes anymore.

Actions speak louder they say,

But for now, pour your heart out… let me hear you.
