Of Hearts and Tragedy

"Shall I keep your heart,

Until the day we unify?"

Queen vowed, her words to beautify,

A love no storm could tear apart.

The lord set forth to the field,

With a peck upon her cheek.

All red she turned, all glee she'd seek,

And tarried a fortnight with her word.

Their patience was testified,

With longing days and nights.

Yet they outshone all aside,

With letters of his and gifts.

Yet nature never ceased its dread,

By heartless men, a vile act was laid.

On a midnight, he was brutally slain,

Alas she was heard; the lord was bled.

Whisperings mushroomed,

Across the province in mourning,

Stated the clan which shed

The kingdom is none but of the ministers.

She wept deep but her wound deeper,

No materials can ever bring her joy.

Past a night's wept, she agreed, oh poor boy,

She bled both hearts with a silver dagger.
