October

(1)
A mighty wave crashes
upon my rocky cumbrous heart
Juvenile mosses blossom
under its frothy icy spell.
Like a lonely eel,
bestowed with electric power
I writhe on the sheet,
grasping your hair
with my slender bony fingers
The blooming stars on your hair
Ah! They wink at me
through the pitiful voids
between my fastened digits
Your lips slip into mine
I sink in its saccharine depth,
erasing every memory of attacks
kisses used to be.
(2)
The eyes of the night are dripping rain,
thunderous light is violating the windowpanes
Your face unfolds in the darkness
sad, kind, and beautiful
forested with ruffled hair
In a voice so feverish,
reminding me of a spring of yellow flowers
you uttered words of love
and buried me in a valley of kisses.
