Ocean

Born, born into this world

And I saw, saw all that trash, simply hurled

My Ocean

The beautiful waves, they dance

Underneath them, the view awes you with a single glance Schools of fish swimming around

Mothers, making sure their eggs are safe and sound My Ocean

I swam, with so many friends

Soon to see them meet their ends

The turtles, oh, the whales

Choked by the fisherman's sails

My Ocean

Pretty corals! My home!

Until I wooke up to realize that they’re gone

Islands of trash

What have we done to deserve something so brash? My Ocean

However, the damage can be undone

After darkness, there always comes the sun I long for the sun to shine again

To finally bid farwell to all this pain

Our Ocean
