Now, Don't Come Back

I am starting to forget you,

Now, don’t bother to appear out of the blue.

The walls have finally started to break,

It took me almost a year, give or take.

I may miss you sometimes, it’s alright,

Now, at least you don’t ruin my nights.

Your name doesn’t give me chills anymore,

For good, we closed that door.

I am starting to forgive and forget,

Still, I hope there are things which you regret.

I want to leave “us” in a good place,

Let the past be not embraced.

Unsure about you, but I won’t erase you thoroughly,

Though, thy are phasing out from life of mine, slowly.
