Nothingness
By Amitava Mazumdar
Everything I remembered in the previous day or the day before or any time before
Perhaps a glimpse of that could hold me back for sometime in an empty bench
During those periods of short recalls or flashbacks inside the domain of frail dreams
Nothing is worthy nor glorious to enjoy or to preserve before another sunset
or another sunrise.
I have no house to dwell
I have no dog to pamper
I have no girlfriends to love
I have no prayers to offer
I have no proper ties
Everything I remembered in the previous day or the day before or any time beyond the limits of time
It makes me sense lead me towards the ways I rugged over in my thoughtfulness
Those hills those houses those wild woods those people with masks evading faces I could live without
Because of the radical sky where my dreams could live without any identity without any existence.
