Notes From the Edge

Taking a day off today

cause I can’t seem to get up

four bitter snacks last night

did not put me beat up

it’s like a hole

a deep dark vast

wanna reach out but nothing to grab

not to complain nor to compare

for my comrades over there

who fights away to the paradise awaits

I’ll pray for them, I’ll pray

just long for a way to look fine and okay

to move every step of the way

without causing troubles and play?

though not all days are an off day

the steps are there, one everyday

just sometimes they are away, further away

or lost in sight, of the misty haze

so I’ll look broken, annoyed and mad

even if the intention is never what I made

not easy to comprehend

well, if I myself don’t understand

so just look forward, D said

for things I’ll seen in the end

is better that the end that I chose

amongst these chaotic blend

as I hadn’t reached my purpose

for my one true aim.
