The longest of silence is often led to by pettiest of a reason,

We spoke everyday, we shared everything, we never ran out of expression,

What could I make for dinner to choosing if you can be a priest or a great swimmer,

Never did we actually solve each other's problem,

But we made sure to speak it out, laugh it out and let's not worry about any irrelevant "them".

Two practically sound souls having great time with other,

Couldn't even the hardest of arguments let our relation bothered.

You never believed in the evils' eye, Rather comically but I kept asserting no one can its presence deny.

Sooner enough came a day, came the pettiest of reason,

Left us shattered, unexplainable, and faintly broken.

Many a day have passed that you left my door,

To forget you, what helped me were your letters which I tore

Many books flash this idea, many may say you should learn to let go,

Alienating was this thought to me who never understood to make a foe,

For once, hear me out and if I make any sense to you, please give it a thought,

As part of basic math we know,

The combination of plusses and minuses gives you null,

But what if you barge with greater positives with all might and will.

When you had 10 reasons to be worried about, they helped you smile: bring out the positive,

Family fights, career confusion, your silly mistakes, never were you judged: reassert the positive,

If just a simple message lit up each other's face like nothing else: cherish the positive,

If you feel you have initiated the mistake,

If you believe you should not have said that,

If you think all you wanted was a retake,

My dear friend, you still have a chance and it's not very late

Stay, trust, believe and let them feel your invisible presence,

We have wished to the shooting star and the long waves,

Believe for once that more than the problem, what bothers to them is your absence,

For once, hear me out and if I make any sense to you, please give it a thought,

We deserve to be forgiven, we deserve to be together in all simple ways,

And hence, No need to let go always...
