Night Of Peace

Being successful in life, is what we seek-
We know life, is not shy and meek…
There are some, who stand up and rise,
Just like the big business man, Mr. Brise
Working in offices, going abroad for free,
One success after another, he was on a winning spree!
But there was an emptiness, a hollow place in his chest,
It made him impatient, just when he finally wanted some rest…
He usually pushed the nostalgic feel inside,
But days passed, and he decided he couldn’t hide
Them as it went on troubling his peace
When would he find it? The missing piece?
As he woke up and followed his usual routine,
Entered into his car, and saw something which made him keen…
Pollution from the vehicles, and the busy horns around,
He wanted to escape this; to breathe pure and neglect this sound!
That is when he took leave from his work,
And left for the village, named Inngork…
In it’s vicinity, the air seemed to change,
Tiny little houses, visible from the range-
He placed his foot, on the pure ground,
There was an air of happiness and peace all around-
Mr. Brise set off, to take a round in the village-
On his way, saw gypsies, peasants and even a sage!
But then something struck his attention, a little boy there-
Seemed responsible; moving the sheep into their lair.
Brise went there, to test the little boy, with his laws,
And oh! What a massive surprise it was!
General knowledge and math, was so very strong,
There wasn’t one question, where he went wrong!
Mr. Brise was amazed, and learnt something new-
There existed people, with inborn talent; few!
He went back to his bungalow, and cleared his head,
He slowly thought it over, connecting the abstract threads,
Then he realized, what his motive would be,
To provide education, to little kids, for free!
With his immense position and power,
His plan easily unfolded like the petals of a flower
Little children came over, from all around the state,
So different they were, with no existence of anger or hate…
Mr Brise found inner happiness and peace,
He had finished his puzzle, with the missing piece-
Satisfaction he received, from a boy tending to sheep,
Finally, he thought, he could get a good night’s sleep!
