Ngitjha ngiphekeni?

Ngithi bamba isandla sami uyasiluma.

Ngithi bandamela nangu mina udedela emuva.

Ngithi igazi alidudwa uthi ududa wakho umzimba.

Ngithi ekhaya kugidwa ngalendlela uthi ugida lakho igido.

Ngiyakwembesa uyazembula.

Alo ngitjha ngiphekeni?

Ngikuvalela iinkhisi namadonga wena udose igama lami edakeni.

Ngiphezu kokukwakhela umkhanyo ngikuvulele amathuba;

Wena ungikhamba ngaphasi ungakhela amaqhinga;

Unginanabela ngomkhonto ngemhlana.

Ngimatasatasa ngithi asakheni ikhaya likababa;

Kuwe ngelikababa mhlana kufuna yakho ihliziyo.

Ngitjha ngiphekeni?

Nje khona ngilalelani ngingakalali ngawe,

Wena uzilalele udosana neenkhumba?

Ngikhohlwelani ngesibaya sami,

Bona kungabe kufahle nezami iinkomo?

Uzwe nabathi iKosi izalele ebaleni wakhetha ukufuyela ebaleni vele?

Ukhohliswa ngubani ukuthi ungaziguda kukulungele?

Ngiyazibuza ngiyaziphendula.

Sengililela nangu ubhutjhulu kababa atjhabalala.

Mlileleni umenziwa akakazenzi wenziwe.

Mliseni umzenzi akakenziwa uzenzile.

Mtlhuweleni ubonani akaboni ukuthi akaboni.

Nje khona kukangaki aboniswa athi uyabona angaboni?

Kukangaki avuma ingoma engekho enyaweni?

Uthjebele ngendeni-ke nawunjalo somngani!
