Never Been Happier

Updated: Jul 30

By Vomna Mohan

Days and nights are insufficient to dwell in the thought of you

I demand another 24 everyday

Am I not sane to feel the winter getting hotter and hotter

Never craved for bitter melon my entire life, but now

Confinement becomes the hour of some dramas and acts

Looking at your portrait all day long, still can’t get enough of it

Waiting in a long queue isn’t boring anymore

Eyes are refusing to sleep even when it’s worn out

Lips finding it tough to stop smiling without rhyme

Never been so passionate in making grocery list before

Feeling as if the whole world just stopped to stare at my insanity

And suddenly, I feel like every love song that’s ever written is all about you, just for me

Do you experience the same?

I guess you do.
