Old scars,

No more ours.

Turning pages,

Burning images.

Why live in monotony,

When the possibilities are many.

Why do we have to be as cold as icd,

A dull and colourless life with no spice.

When it can be as adventurous and colourful as fire.

For questions around you,

The answers surround you.

Giving birth to a new desire,

Be as thin as air,

To accept the changes that seem fair.

Be as smooth as water,

To get through the situations that are rougher.

Upskill yourself to be as hard as stone,

For you to win your battles even when you’re fighting alone.

Be as versatile as the earth’s nature,

Which is home to a gazillion diverse creatures.

In this world, altruism is bare and rare.

Coming to life, a dark nightmare.

High on hope, I wake each day,

To give in my blood, sweat and tears to be better than yesterday.
