Nature Coach Love
By Anushka Gupta
I am a romance, I’m natural,
Yes, natural the nature,
Nature, thou art the coach of love,
Ergo let us in your passionate coach.
A seat betwixt you,
tears transfigure into happy dews.
May I be your style of lover?
A lover one sided, or a lover to a foe,
Like you love me if I pluck your roots.
And when I kill your lilies with my boots,
You love a lumberjack, you love a pile burner,
You bear aphids, and you bear us!
By what means, you accord in abundance?
Guess you’re kept by many lovers.
Clouds kissing your forehead,
Seduced by winds,
Compelled oceans to be your bed,
And butterflies dropping the hints.
This chemistry, worth comprehending,
but I give up, or I’ll end up a saint.
A serene sin, I’d smile and commit,
To leave you in a state of unrequited love.
Allow me to amend,
I’m no romance,
And I’m far-flung from being natural!
