As the dawn light seeped through my window, I heard the alarm clock awakening me, I rubbed my eyes and walked towards the light, As i looked out of the open window, The sweet petrichor smell from yesterday’s rain, The chirping of crickets in the grass, Leaves covered with dew drops,

As melodious dawn chorus by birds drifts into my room, I see a rooster from a distance awakening the sun to shine, With the gentle breeze in the morning I see the clouds making its way , For its time for the sun to shine and for the moon to go into its slumber, What a beautiful sight of morning, With a wonderful escape into the nature, Which many miss to appreciate in this hustling life.
