MY WIND OF CHANGE

You came into my life

Like a sudden gush of wind,

So strong you swept me off my two feet.

You dragged me in, heart first and the rest followed.

I was left hanging head over heels,

Wondering how to survive on a love that is borrowed?

You didn't linger long enough,

For you went with the change.

But you touched me in ways I can't explain,

And now, I'm not the same.

I pray no matter how far you fly,

Or how strong you blow,

May you always remember the taste of my name

And forget not, to whisper it as you go,

So I'll hear you, when you come by close.
