I just like to keep walking away

Leave my problems behind to stay

Don’t want to deal with the pain it brings

Surround myself with distracting things

But I feel it, I feel it all today

I just can’t seem to find the time

To look inside at what’s killing my mind

Excuses that I make to hide away

All alone fighting my demons

My soul feels so hollow and dry

I don’t want to feel the pain

Tears stay frozen when I try to cry

Its just driving me insane

Im not going to live this life forever

I can’t just do things my way

Need to pull myself together

Its not my road or the highway

Hold on dear child

Nobody seems to want to stay

I don’t even see the light of day

Solitude has never felt so pure

I know isolation is not the cure

But I feel it, I feel it all today

Keep your vices away from me

Ive had enough of the dishonesty

Wicked disguises and wicked schemes

Its like Im trapped in an endless dream
