My Quiet Path to Love

There are days when the silence feels loud -

endless, like an echo that never lands.

I walk it slowly,

not searching,

just listening.

For a long time, I thought love was something you had to chase -

something to catch before it slipped away.

But over time, I learned that real love doesn't run.

It arrives...

when you're already walking your truth.

I've come to know the difference

between loneliness and solitude.

Loneliness asks for company.

Solitude offers clarity.

And it's here, in this quiet balance,

that my heart learned how to breathe again.

I've seen how quick the world moves -

how easy it is to trade depth for distraction.

But I choose a slower rhythm.

I choose to stay present,

to keep my soul visible,

without giving it away.

Because love - real love -

is not found in the rush,

but in the recognition.

So I'll keep walking this quiet path.

Eyes open.

Heart steady.

Ready - not desperate.

Rooted - not restless.

And when love appears,

it will not startle me like lightning.

It will feel like the sunrise -

a warm radiance, leaving me eager for more.
