My Pencil As My Partner

I am thin and long

Equally strong

Sometimes live long

But always move along...

I am peaked at one end

Lend myself to your friend

Who hardly attend

Or return me after the bell-ends...

I am light

Sometimes bright

Hold me tight

So that I write, the right...

Blue, green, red and white

I am fixed with the graphite inside...

I accompained you, since your childhood

Reached up, till your adulthood

Ocassionally, dressed up with a cedarwood

A softwood, that stood up good than a plywood...

With me as a partner

You underline quarter to a chapter

Like a highlighter

To figure out, the little letters better...

I do erase your mistakes eachtime

But overtake and break a thousand time

Equipped anytime

With you, for your lifetime...
