I gaze at you & it feels I'm incomplete

The lines of your palm show me my destiny

I walk with you & love becomes a memory

The colour of your lips whispers my melody

~° It's only a sin if I give in

Taste of your hopes, it cinders my fears

It's only a dream if I give in

Touch of your laughter, it pulls me too deep

& I never want to wake up

From this sweet slumber

Don't you throw me an echo

In the moments of this wonder

~° I watch as you breathe in splendour of divinity

Words in your skies wash away my sanity

I fly with you & scars become feathers to me

Stars on your tongue serenades my melody

~° It's only a sin if I give in

Your arms around my soul are walls of clarity

It's only a dream if I give in

Thoughts of your crescent smile, my only remedy

& I never want to heal

From the pain of this space

Between my fingers & your cheeks

~° It's not enough that we share one breath

Sing to my heart, the wisdom of life
