My Long Lost Sundays

My long lost sundays

were my life's most amazing fun days!

Hostile I am now to the situations,

switched to the God's simulation.

Little was I when I played the bat ball

with my big brother in the living hall.

Broke TV, sometimes tubelight;

Little was my height,

but notorious in fight.

Wrestled I with my brother on the bed,

with a box of med.

Everything seemed cute

back then when i was mute.

Then one day I spoke,

all took their notes out and wrote

about my future and well being.

Some said I will be this, some said that,

I was amused at their foreseeing.

It took only some more years to join college

to acquire some more knowlege.

The people there heeded at my alien looks,

which was normal and well needed.

I felt special and out of the world.

I gathered all of it and curled

them together to make friendship

which went on to become a wrecked ship

for I called spade a spade.

Today I work twenty four seven,

as I write this line its approximate eleven;

Life is filled with people who want you to fail

and throw you down with your folded tail.

Today I wished I told the note bearers,

that I want to remain the same...

And not end up being a city dweller.

Better I am with my brother,

playing bat ball in the absence of my mother;

wrestling, breaking things, giggling

and tickling.

I miss those long lost Sundays...
