My Light In The Dark

When my room was an empty heart

When my finger couldn't pluck the strings in my guitar

When my voice fell from the ledge, when my hands slipped from the edge

When my eyes coudn't find the answer for what was next

When my hopes were wounded and my dreams were wrecked

You picked me up like an angel

You picked me up like a pen on a paper

You wrote the sight I never saw

You wrote the lines I never thought

You wrote the history I never fought

Chrous

And now this what you look like

My heart ripped out of my chest

In the house on fire I find your words as a breath

In the battle of love I found your words well said

Pressing your hand against my chest stops me from bleeding unfetched.

Look in your eyes banishes demons in my mind one less

The shedding my worst

My deciduous tress became evergreen

I found way through dark with you next to me

When I knew my words were undone and messy

You took my hands and showed me my beauty.

You took me far from from the city in the hill mountains so pretty

You said you are the star I wanna see shooting

When the aura of my beauty faded you painted my room with splendid

your libral deeds, patched the bleeding and my scars undid

My room is place full of stars

My rusty hands stums the chords of your heart

My voice hit the notes and the songs I didn't start

Was the picture of your face and the beauty that everlast

My motivation and inspiration matched with a spark

Your benevolence and your soft tender heart like burning stick in the dark

In the voyage of my life you're the wind I pray in the night

When your words reached the depth of my fresh wonded scars

You picked my broken heart from the ground

You picked my pen like a vow

You wrote the words that I coudn't found

You picked my broken heart and put it like a crown
