My Last Wish

My last wish

is not to get what I lost;

or not relieve my resentment;

or to find peace with my love;

or to see her smiling;

not to see him crying;

or to wait for dark clouds to give me the cure.

It is for him

whose name has the power of the lord,

who doesn't give what I want;

says "destined" to things that you don't.

for once to give justice,

who took away my soul,

sending me on the way.

to stop and knock on my door.
