My Idol, My Inspiration: My Guru

It was the day I met you,

On the day of my interview,

You were the epitome of,

Confidence and maturity,

Albeit with chivalry in place.

You have always been there,

Through thick and thin for us,

We came up to you with problems,

With your experience and vision,

You turned them into solutions.

There were moments and days,

Of panic, hush-hush, and craziness,

Of fun, laughter, and togetherness,

You have sailed through all of it.

On the occasion of your birthday,

I take the onus on behalf of all,

To thank you for being there,

For being on toes all the time,

I hope you keep inspiring us,

Today, tomorrow, and forever!!
