My Dandelion

Updated: Jul 30

By Jiah Zahid Abdulla

Oh! There I see,

There I see my favourite dandelion.

How far, have you been brought

By the cold wind?

Oh, my strong dandelion,

Stronger than no other.

You are the strongest mother

A fool like me, has ever see.

How heartbreaking it must have been?

To see your beloved children

Being taken away by the

Wicked wind.

Your heart must have been broken,

Broken into a thousand fragments.

How do you hold yourself?

How do you hide those tears of Pain?

And how do you forgive

The cruel wind?

Oh! My dandelion

You are special and I,

I can never be as strong

As you are.

But you are the only inspiration

For me.
