My Blood- Blue

It really does feel surreal

Being a part of this scene

Because everything seems to go wrong

And I’m the one who bleeds

I bleed from not my scars

The blood is not red

It’s blue from the bulk

Of absolutely no help

It’s blue from the bundle

Of expectations

It’s blue from

The death invitations

I have fought this war far

The need for the future is the same

Though I don't know if I can do it

Because my heart lies in pain

But only I know what I’ve been through

Then why do I define myself?

Setting my limits every now and then

My worth and my will

All confined in a boundless hill

Blue blood does not abide me

It does not define me

Like my sorrows and horrors

It shall too refine me
