Saw a figure in light, dancing some distance away
Moved closer to it, to see who it be may
Saw a monster jumping, howling loudly being handcuffed
Seeing me near him he cried for help in a voice so rough.
Taken aback I without waiting try retracing my path fast
But the monster’s pleads kept me there at last
As I touched his glowing cuffs and stared at them,
The monster’s tear fell on my finger ring’s gem.
A lone monster he, shared his stories a sad stock,
As I listened trying to break his handcuffs with a rock
With each bang I put all my might as strong as it fell
To break open the handcuffs and the monster got his bail.
I teared up and the monster gently wiped my teary face
He hugged me so lovingly that my heart began to race
It was so agonizing to listen to the monster sadly speak,
I sat near him listening to him, in that night dark and bleak.
Tales of hardships, tales gruesome
Tales which bound the tears to come.
He sobbed and cried and I comforted him
None else could’ve faced such a fate so grim.
I promised the giant to free him from his pain
Without thinking of any valid loss or gain
Just then ever mysterious the giant was seen no where
An angel figure stood in front of me glowing in a glory so rare.
‘Celestial lass’, the angel said to me
I looked at him in a scrumptious gaze
‘You will be blessed by the Almighty’
He left saying thus, leaving me in a dark base.
I shivered and racked myself to get my senses back
I found the angel vanished leaving behind a large sack
It was the prettiest night, with none in the streets but me alone
Inside the sack were memories of me and the monster, threaded and sewn.
