Moonlight

As this darkness

climbing high,

I'm on the brink of murk

that could swallow me inside.

The moon is at distant

yet a mere shift of an eye,

Waiting for me in the sky

To tell stories of brave knights.

It has seen my sleepless nights

And gives me company when terror strikes

Send through my blinds cracks some light

‌Join me there and lay beside

And, the crescent I wear

around the neck as a pendant

Gives me a sparkling shine.

Oh! My Dear

You've held my hand when I cry

And, you're the only one I call mine
