Moon Being
By Shruthi
I sit so still,
Watching the calming moon
Settling in the notorious noon
An aura of peace,
A vibe and breeze
I feel it all.
I feel it with ease
It's not a regular day, you see!
soaking the radiance of the moon
I send back gratitude and acceptance.
For this moment is a boon.
It's a solemn saga,
Only between the moon and me.
It's an unwritten letter,
An unsung song,
A drama or a mystery
On this night, so long.
Sharing our little secrets,
A chit or a chat,
About our sinusoidal phases,
moody eclipses and all that.
It's an everlasting bond,
For it keeps it's promise
of coming back strong and long,
Summer or winter,
Heat or snow,
Even a beam of the crescent
Is a blessing and a present.
Dear moon,
You glow through your craters
Embracing yourself as you are,
I wonder,
Am I a moon being
Or being moon?
For insync we rise,
Insync we fall,
Or diverge on some days,
But survive through all.
