Moments of Motherhood

Nine months of carrying,

Waiting all day and night

Bearing all the pain

She delivered a baby,

Her bosom buddy!

With immense joy,

She held her sweetie

Close to her heart,

And looked at the baby

For the very first time!

Tears of joy

Rolled down her eyes,

She then realized

It was worth the wait and pain!

That defined the motherhood in her

The new ray of light in her life,

Adding smile

To the rest of her life!
