The scent of the moment

bore into my skin.

Burning for each other

we'd loved and loved

indefinite days.

A rush floods over my face.

Taken by surprise.

I remember your spell.

Transported into another world

the utter daze.

A piece of bliss .

The subtle power of making love stays.

The fragrance of love lingers

defying time.

Loving you changed me.

In its aftertaste I grew

intermingled in you

beyond infinitesimal ways.

The scent of your love remains.

The moment came and left

I gazed.

I looked around.

There's much to do and

no time to waste.

A smile left me in haste.
