Mistaken Mistakes

When you cannot pardon

Yourself for something you did wrong- You can only mourn or honk,

Or throw yourself into a dungeon From your satellite sojourn.

You may groan in agony, You may torn in disharmony,

You may swoon, you may cry; You may lose your temper, You may tether your anger, You may croon to die.

You may be sworn To be reborn,

And return….

To rectify

What you did wrong

That you, yourself cannot pardon.
