Mirage

I endeavored following my heart,

Went through blazing deserts,

Thinking there was some part,

Calling for me in a faraway land.

Stumbling over stones,

Crossing huge barriers,

I saw an oasis done,

Pursuited it for long.

Neither the right nor the wrong,

I did not care about anything,

To find my life’s song,

Just followed what my heart said.

I was thoroughly lured,

To see the unseen,

To hear the unheard,

And to know the unknown.

I knew there was none,

Yet I was continued in the mysterious path,

Away from all the fun,

To fulfill my longings.

To put my heart and soul,

To find my way to it,

I knew he was the sole,

Who protected each and everyone.

Failing every time I pursued,

Neither I heard nor I saw,

It’s there I presumed,

For the Almighty was yet to be perceived.
