Midnight thoughts

I don’t know what I feel

My mind is blank and heart empty

I just wish I had someone

To wrap me up with their love

The streets are flooded as I cry floods

Lost in my thoughts asking “Do they really love”

“Do they really want me” and “Do they really care”

But I’m just left unanswered in despair

I guess I have no one to call my own

Just wishing I had someone to talk

So tired of being alone

Now I’m left in the corner to rot

I don’t know what else I can do

To numb the pain and feel alive

I wish I had someone who understands

These are just my midnight thoughts
