An ocean needn’t save its waves,

they crash, they turn, splash and

thrash, with the winds they roar,

with the breeze they sing, and

nurture the Life that blossoms

within.

And like that sea,

you stand and stare,

with a saline heart,

at a driftin’ prayer.

And like the waves,

we sin and spin,

with a million roles,

and a hollow grin.
