Memories change with time

Memories that made you laugh once

Might bring tears to your eyes now

Memories could be heart wrecking

Memories could be mesmerizing

Memories are funny, they are what you want them to be

The more your try to forget, the more you remember

It is weird and messy but at the same time beautiful

Today I caught myself smiling while scrolling through

Our late night chats and endless conversations

Every time I read your words, your voice echoed in my heart,

Your uncontrollable laughter and sparkling eyes

Everything played right in front of my eyes

Just like those flashbacks in movies

I feel your presence even in my silence

But memories are fated to fade away

They are cursed to stay only in the hearts of the weaker

Time waits for no one and so did you

Season's changed, People changed, and Life changed

But still I am stuck at the crossroad

Maybe it's my fear to cross roads that has held me here

But I am happy, at least my memories are happier
