The path to you, God

Is not easy

Difficult to say the least

Impossible to say the most

But, fortunately I have you, with me,

The highest of the high

God you are in human form

God you always are

Your love sustains me,

Guides me

Takes me to you (Avatar Meher Baba) Baba

Oh God! Thank you

Thank you

For I have met you in human form

You are all that matters to me now

Sad I may feel

Happy I may feel

But all I know is that you are with me

And suddenly the sadness becomes bearable

The joys don’t matter so much

As much as your ever-present love is

And ever will be

You were there, always there

Always with me

Right from the beginning

It was always you (Avatar Meher Baba) Baba

And it will always be you

Right till the very end
