Me And My Depression

Updated: Jul 29

By Sahiti Ramadugu

Will a sane person ever leave me alone with my thoughts?

people did.

It's then that she took me in,

Shoved me into corners and whispered unfathomable secrets,

Told fables to abash me,

Which took away my senere;

If I could,

I would tell her she won;

Consuming me as whole,

Leaving me with scars with tales of their own,

Picturing my image dreadfully twisted

And making me blindly trust her.

"You are insane aren't you" she muttered

"Yes, I am."

She did win.
