I took a walk on a cloudy evening.

I saw the mountains disappearing,

Far away, bit by bit, hiding behind the thick mist.

Then the village down the hill slowly faded,

Then the trees just a kilometer ahead hid,

Then the footpath I was on got blurry.

Maybe this single tree right infront of me

Is the only thing I can see now,

But I am sure the mountains, the village, and the footpath

Are still there, and that is enough for me.

I am sure I can reach to them again,

Maybe not now but soon,

Then the sun will come from the east

And maybe I will see it set in the far west.

And maybe it won’t be perfect but I’m sure it’ll be magnificent.
