Matter Of Time

Time keeps rolling;

numbers keep increasing as the years go by.

Man is mortal time keeps rolling;

man keeps ageing by the by.

You asked me if it mattered,

that I spent more seconds, hours and years;

in regrets and disappointments down here on earth?

I have made mistakes and it is alright to regret;

for my years now I see clear made me learn lessons that I shall not forget,

lessons that also trailed with happy memories.

So, do our years spent here on earth matter?

unless the numbers have some other meaning to you.

If I am older, I have gone through a lot more;

I have seen more and lived more of glorious life;

I have learned to know that age mean little in friendship and love.

Age nothing but artificial boundaries;

For man live not by his years but by his deeds.
