The sun had shone,

The wind had blown.

The birds were chirping,

The children were working.


Doesn't it sound unusual?

Of course it does! Unusual as well as cruel!

You might be wondering why are the children working,



When they should be at school, studying and playing.

Its their age to read storybooks and explore themselves,

But there they are in the factories making bookshelves.

They should be preparing for their course,

But alas! There they are doing the household chores.


The sun had set,

All the children had met.

There they were, standing under the town street light,

Just next to the school, towards its right...
