Mad Women Pray
By Yuvankshi Venugopal
When mad women pray, skies turn grey and rivers ooze red, all of time comes to a standstill, haunting every sane mind to delusional oblivion and winds blow at a speed of 408 km/h, wrecking houses of deceit and lies. Flames engulf any profanity mumbled against her to ashes spread around as illustrations of consequences.
When mad women pray, all of nature aligns to manifest her chastity as she sits on her knees with her hands folded begging for solitude and mercy, the men of god step away from confrontation for they fear what remains unknown to them of the unending power of her wrath. When mad women pray, God listens, for you see, women are enchantment in the purest form.
