You were a garden full of roses but I'm looking for a sunflower,

with these words turning to ashes, nothing's left to call 'ours'

did you really think I'd make it so easy for you?

treat me like a queen but you can't be my lover

keep you waiting until you can't even decide

what's wise to stay or leave, I bet that you dispise

when you can't be close to me, it really makes me feel so nice

to see you ruin your day with my thoughts running through your mind

You are a garden full of roses but I'm looking for a sunflower,

allergic to wild hearts, you gotta be a Lil bit more clever

did you really think I'd make it so easy for you?

treat me like a queen, I bet you want to be my lover

you say you will love me until my hair turns hoar

I'm guessing that means forever, it's not what I signed up for

it's wise if you choose to leave, you can never be her

never tired of running, there's still a lot for me to explore

You were a garden full of roses but I'm looking for a sunflower,

with these words turning to ashes, nothing's left to call 'ours'

< Lover rn • • •

will talk trash about you to your face and behind your back

make you feel like you're insane until your heart opens crack

oh, I'll mess with your best friend and make you hate her

got love, let's not pretend, that'll only leave you with a panic attack

oh, this is my ex's perspective, not a personal attack

You were a garden full of roses, but I'm looking for a sunflower,

with these words turning to ashes, nothing's left to call 'ours'

did you really think I'd make it so easy for you?

treat me like a queen, but you can't be my lover
