It’s again raining outside,

I am awake but on an awful tide;

I'd always told you how much I loved the rain,

But I wonder, how it lifted up my pain;

It's like thunder and lightning,

You left me in the middle of nowhere, without even realizing;

Your thoughts and memories in my head are still flying,

But I can’t let you keep them playing;

Let the memories just flow,

I'm sorry I couldn't be your tic-tac-toe;

I wish I could try again and say a ‘Hey’,

I wish I could ask you once again, "Babe, how was your day?"

Though I knew, I knew it'll end up in a grey,

But my mind still strikes for you and I perhaps desire, that yours may;

Now, as I look through my window, I realize,

That the sun is shining, and so am I;

I've seen euphoric days with nights of crying, and you know this too,

Tell me- Did you just loved me or loved me the way- I love you?
