You taught me to stumble and fall,

Also to stand up tall!

You taught me to shed my tears,

Also in a while to cheer!

You taught me the path will be difficult,

Keep an open mind, be persistent!

You gave me beautiful people on my journey,

Some leave, some will stay till eternity!

You taught me things will happen in life,

Get going with positive vibes!

There will be heart break, you will be betrayed,

The lessons I learned, there's always grey!

You taught me to keep my inner child alive,

It keeps me going, for happiness I strive!

You taught to put in my best efforts,

Do what I love, not thinking of results !

You taught me that trust is an important element,

To be one's confidant, making them radiant!

You taught me we can't have it all,

Look at the positives, keep going strong!

You taught me to 'BELIEVE IN MYSELF',

Have faith in your 'anchor', within you it dwells!

You taught me, 'Not everyone is your cup of tea',

Also, 'Everyone has a Story!

You taught me to have a beautiful heart,

It's all that matters from the start!

"YOU ARE LIFE" my biggest teacher,

Always look forward to the journey together!

Living my life with love and glory,
